Parents and carers are encouraged to attend our regular parent’s evenings, which will be held twice a year, to discuss your child’s development with your child’s key worker.

In the future we plan to hold regular parents workshops on subjects such as weaning, creativity with your child, and managing your child’s behaviour .

Every 3 months we will be holding a parents forum. This gives the opportunity for staff throughout the nursery to meet with parents to discuss nursery issues, and events that may be taking place. We here at Canterbury Road Day Nursery feel it is extremely important for parents to be involved in the nursery.

We will also have a nursery newsletter going out to all the families that attend the nursery, updating on events, information shared from the outcome of the parents forums, and general nursery information.

We are dedicated to the needs of our parents and children in our care, and feel that good communication is essential to the smooth running of the nursery.
