Canterbury Road Day Nursery is a newly developed building aimed to be everything a happy child needs on a day-to-day basis. We have put an immense amount of time and effort in to creating the right environment for the nursery, and it shows throughout.
Our nursery is on two floors, upstairs being solely for the pre-school children. The ground floor has several base rooms, including two 2-3 year rooms, a sensory room, and a multi-purpose ‘Jungle Room’ in which dance and music lessons will take place.
The upper floor has 2 base rooms for the pre-school children and a physical play room, the ‘Slippery Snake’ room. This consists of a range of Gymkids equipment and active play resources. It also features a snakes and ladders board on the wall which is magnetic, and the children can play along with the magnetic pieces.

As I’m sure some of you are all aware, the nursery has been doing a lot of fundraising lately for a fantastic cause for ‘Ria’s Rainbow’. Ria is Emma’s sister in the Cheeky Chimp Room and has Cerebral Palsy. We are trying to raise as much money as possible, to enable her to have a life changing operation in America. Lots of parents have been fantastic getting involved and helping us to raise lots of money, but we still have more to raise, so if anyone has any ideas for fundraising, please mention to us, so Ria can reach her target of £50,000.
